I sat down with Mike Irwin and Simon Daw on the What I Wish I Knew podcast — a show built around honest conversations with founders, athletes, and leaders about what they've learned along the way. It was exactly the kind of conversation I didn't know I needed.
We covered a lot of ground: the research lab years, the ring, and what it actually takes to build a company from a scientific idea into something real. One of the threads that kept coming up was the reality of fundraising as a female founder, the gaps in access to capital that rarely get talked about plainly, and why that conversation still matters.
Thank you to Mike and Simon for the thoughtful conversation and for building a show where the messy, unplanned parts of the journey are exactly what's worth talking about.
