SAN JOSE, June 2025 -- Hydrostasis was proud to attend the Women in Sensors & Electronics (WISE) Panel at this year’s Sensors Converge, where the spotlight was on a topic central to the company’s values: advancing innovation through investment in women-led startups.
The panel, titled "Empowering Innovation Through Investment in Women-Led Startups," featured a powerhouse lineup of leaders in science, technology, and entrepreneurship, including Hydrostasis' own Debbie K. Chen, PhD, Claire Chang, Aury Cifuentes, Catherine Liao, and Caroline Simard, moderated by Azita Arvani, Stanford Sloan Fellow.
Panelists explored the expanding role of sensor technologies in AI-powered physical systems, while underscoring a critical truth: despite the immense potential of women founders, startups led by women remain significantly underfunded, especially in advanced tech sectors.
Hydrostasis strongly supports the call for a more inclusive innovation ecosystem, where diverse leadership is recognized not only as a matter of equity but as a catalyst for better, smarter solutions. The session highlighted the need for intentional investment strategies, inclusive design principles, and collaborative networks to ensure the next generation of technology truly serves everyone.
As a company committed to developing inclusive, real-time hydration monitoring solutions, Hydrostasis recognizes that the future of innovation must be built by a broad and representative community of founders, engineers, and thinkers.
Hydrostasis commends the WISE community and the Sensors Converge team for creating such an impactful space for this much-needed conversation, and looks forward to continuing to support and advocate for equity in deep tech.
